TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following section provides information regarding music licensing. Please read carefully. By using any music provided by SKEDAEDDLE, you [the licensee] agree to and are bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. You agree that full ownership and copyright on all music remains with Skedæddle at all times.

2. You agree that you must report music usage either to Skedæddle directly or to APRA/AMCOS NZ or one of their affiliates if applicable.

3. You agree not to duplicate, re-record, mix, sample, alter, adapt or in any way change the
music. Alter, rename, reformat or change the digital name or relevant information. Play
live or perform alongside a recorded version of any of the music in public. Allow access to
the website or give content away to any third party. Repackage, rebrand, compile or re-sell
any of the music. You agree that Skedaeddle shall not in any way be liable or responsible for any damage, defamation, loss or injury to any party arising from any use of the music.

 

License A ⇒  Personal use

You will receive the purchased track/s via a download in Mp3 format. You are granted a single use, non-exclusive license to use the music for your own personal enjoyment. You may not use the music in any form of commercial exploitation. Sharing is not allowed.

 

License B ⇒ Student – charity – community – not for profit project

You will receive the purchased track/s via a download in Mp3 format. You are granted a single use, non-exclusive license. This allows you to use the track/s in a single project only. You can edit/cut and re-use the same track several times within the single project. Non commercial – non transferable. The track/s may not be used if the project is for re-sale or commercial exploitation.

 

License C ⇒  Professional – Commercial – Film

You will receive the purchased track/s via a download in Mp3 format. You are granted a single use, non-exclusive license to use the track/s for commercial placement, broadcast, advertising, film, TV or video production. This allows you to use the track/s in a single project only. You can edit/cut and re-use the same track several times within the single project. Non transferable.

 

Reporting usage

Cue sheets containing instances of tracks that have been broadcast on air must be reported to APRA NZ or one of their affiliates. Please include the full track name and ISRC number. This
will be listed on your purchase receipt. You can also report directly to Skedæddle.
